Continuing Educational Seminar On

Understanding the Many Fiduciary Requirements

  1. Did you or your client agree to follow ERISA fiduciary standards when completing the 5500?

  1. Do you need help integrating fiduciary guidelines?

  1. It appears that many fiduciaries just don’t understand the fiduciary requirements. If this describes you, then the courts have instructed that you get help.

If you’re a fiduciary or answered yes to any of these questions then this seminar is for you. This will provide you with real value, such as a top northwest speaker with a detailed fiduciary rules outline, lunch, plus the ability for you to invite clients that need to conform to the new fiduciary rules, all for FREE.

ERISA has designed fiduciary guidelines so plans can increase their total returns, create wider diversification, increase investors participation, while adding higher liability protecting for those involved. The plan sponsors are the ultimate winner lowering their costs while creating a better solution.

401k Plans, Defined Benefit Plans, Foundations, Endowments, Taft-Hartley Trust and now 403B Plans all involve fiduciary responsibilities.

This education program will go through the step by step process in explaining fiduciary involvement and the importance of each process involved. It will also include some historical examples of failures in the system plus focus on governmental requirements. The Department of Labor is trying to protect and ensure that we manage the many investment programs properly, so we will attempt to answer the following question:

“If ERISA’s fiduciary requirements are designed to increase overall returns, provide for higher level of services, while lowering plans cost, then why aren’t we adopting the new requirements?”

The speaker will be Randy Durig, Founder, CEO and fiduciary with Durig Capital. Mr. Durig has over 20 years of investment experience in which he has published many papers on investment and fiduciary responsibilities that have been widely published.
